The costs of neglecting safety issues and reducing the safety factor of the system are beyond the perception of managers and supervisors.

The costs of neglecting safety issues and reducing the safety factor of the system are beyond the perception of managers and supervisors. These costs can include incidents, rework costs, economic costs, etc. By employing suitable safety management systems, significant reductions can be achieved in these costs, ongoing safety costs, and prevention costs. Currently, the Safety and Firefighting unit is responsible for the protection of the lives of individuals, equipment, and other assets of the company.

Objectives and Plans:

  • Formation of technical protection and occupational health committees on a monthly basis and follow-up on deficiencies and implementation of resolutions.
  • Establishment and participation in specialized safety and firefighting committees.
  • Preparation, distribution, and installation of safety and firefighting posters and signs for cultural awareness.
  • Supervision over the purchase, approval, and distribution of personal protective equipment required for personnel.
  • Conducting safety and firefighting drills and non-operational defense in various units.
  • Monitoring hazardous activities such as welding, cutting, work at heights, confined space work, etc.
  • Development of safety and firefighting guidelines on related topics.
  • Preparation and presentation of educational materials to enhance the level of awareness among employees.
  • Conducting general and specialized safety and firefighting training classes.
  • Control and supervision of various activities of contractors and safety management (performance control) of contractors.
  • Creating readiness and response in emergency situations among all employees and contractors of the company.
  • Preparation of documents and guidelines related to safety and implementation of occupational health and safety management system requirements.
  • Collaboration in the preparation, distribution, and use of suitable personal protective equipment for employees, monitoring their correct use, guiding those at fault, and recording relevant records.
  • Continuous and thorough study of various safety standards and legal requirements, updating them, and using them for the company’s safety objectives.
  • Training company contractors to reduce the likelihood of hazards and increase safety.
